Big Spring Farm Wedding Film | Allie & Bryce | Lexington VA

A Shenandoah Valley wedding, told in their own words

Allie and Bryce were married at Big Spring Farm in Lexington, Virginia, surrounded by the rolling hills of the Shenandoah Valley. Before the ceremony, they met at the farmhouse porch for a first touch. They stood on either side without seeing each other, held hands, and read private vows written just for each other.

Those words became the heart of the film. From that quiet moment by the porch to the ceremony and a reception full of the people who know them best, the day unfolds around what they said to each other when no one else was listening.

Why pre ceremony moments mattered

Some of the most honest moments of a wedding day happen before anyone walks down the aisle. When couples add getting-ready coverage, we get time to capture those moments before the schedule takes over. For Allie and Bryce, that time made the film. Not just their vows but also the words of Allie’s mom expressing her joy of Allie joining Bryce’s family a bitter sweet moment from mom,s heart.

Filming at Big Spring Farm

Big Spring Farm gives a wedding videographer a lot to work with: open fields, a historic farmhouse, and golden-hour light over the valley. We planned the couple’s portraits around that evening light and kept the ceremony coverage unobtrusive so guests could stay present.
